Stuff dreams are made of!

This story is what dreams are made of and I feel privileged to know I played a very small part in making them come true for this angler. This is Koichi Tokuyama's story.....

I flew over to Australia just for fishing journey. 

I had a dream of catching three species of fish while I stay here which are Saratoga, at least 120cm Barramundi and a metre plus Murray Cod. 

I was living in Townsville for the first ten months, so I managed to catch first two species pretty easily.

But as I was working there, I couldn’t make time to chase the last target.

In October, I finished my job in Townsville and decided to go catch the Cod.

(The distance between Townsville and Copeton Dam near Inverell NSW is 1,562kms by road or 16hours 52mins according to Google Maps)

I had twelve days challenge at Copeton Dam.

But it was really tough fishing there.

I caught one very small cod on my 10th day but nothing else and that made me nearly give up.

On my last day, Mike Shelton of Inverell Fishing & Hunting told me to try Jew Dog from Old Dog Lures, and he took me out fishing on my very last evening.

Finally, on my 7th cast a 116cm Murray Cod took the Old Dog Jew Dog in the Banana colour.

I managed to achieve my goal in Australia.

I really, really appreciate for such a great lure and my friend Mike.

That was one of the best day ever in my life.
