HANDCRAFTED TIMBER LURES; FISH APPROVED!
The Mutt Shallow has a body length of 130 mm is handcrafted from timber. It was designed initially to fish my old haunts around the Townsville Harbour.
The Mutt hasn't escaped the evolution process though. Over the last two years, after some feedback from a couple of the professional guides, I've been playing around with bib design, hook and weight placement.
The shallow has a keel weight down near the tail and sits with its tail down it floats up with the tail down.
It now runs, on the cast, at less than 0.5m and has a tight action ideal for shallow gutters.
